Sharpee v4 and Chord v2

The whole concept of versioning software that is built using GenAI is that things change fast and in large ways. In the before times, large feature additions would be considered, designed, and took a long time to deliver. With the models progression from Opus 4 in December of '25 through Fable and Opus 5 today, building complex software is simply getting faster (and better).

But it's not just Claude Code. I've worked hard to wrap Claude with my own "engineering harness" that significantly reduces the chaos and mistakes from raw LLM output. That harness is being used by developers and one enterprise today (https://devarch.ai/).

All that leads to the announcement that Sharpee is now at Version 4 and the new modeling language Chord is Version 2.

The changes to Sharpee are maintenance related and were exposed by upgrades to Chord. Chord is bumped because the grammar capability is fully in parallel with Sharpee. You can extend and replace everything in the standard library from Chord.

That said, the world-model remains purely Sharpee/Typescript.

I need to give a shout out to Nathaniel Lindell who made a very small comment about Chord and the Standard Library and that led to a huge rathole. More than ten ADRs and 72 hours of nonstop updates to the platform and to Chord. I take comments very seriously and this is perfect example of what happens when someone says something even marginal about Sharpee.

Hopefully I can get back to the IDE before I get another marginal comment. 😄
